“Listening to the jazz singer Gabrielle Stravelli is like imbibing a potent cocktail whose flavor changes as you drain the glass….she dipped and swooped, twirling notes and phrases with a confidence and playfulness that recalled Ella Fitzgerald in her prime…” - The New York Times
Vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli and saxophonist Tim Armacost have a musical chemistry that is spontaneous, exciting and playful - much like the pairing of trumpet and sax in a traditional jazz group. Their performance at Feinstein's/54 Below will feature arrangements of standards, jazz and pop tunes alongside new original material that reflects the pure joy they feel about being back to doing what they love with people they love.
Their set will include songs from a wide variety of genres and writers, including, Burt Bacharach's "Alfie", the Beatles "Because", Harold Arlen & Johnny Mercer's "Out of this World" and several favorite songs by Cy Coleman & Carolyn Leigh. The quintet includes pianist Art Hirahara, bassist Pat O'Leary and drummer Eric Halvorson.
Please note that all artists and acts are subject to change at any time.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to enter the club.
