I Love You Because: A Queer Reimagining invites audiences into the modern love story of Austin Bennet, an aspiring greeting card writer, who finds his predictable life turned upside down by the free-spirited photographer Marty Fitzwilliams. Set against the backdrop of New York City's dating scene, the musical explores heartfelt revelations and humorous misunderstandings with a unique LGBTQ+ perspective. Directed by Colin Hanlon and featuring music by Joshua Salzman and lyrics by Ryan Cunningham, this reimagined production runs for two nights, showcasing a delightful mix of wit and emotion.
