As we move past the holidays and back to the grind, the next major holiday looms on the horizon: Valentine's Day... and what better way to celebrate it with the fifth annual VALENTINE'S DAY EVE LADIES OF SOUL TRIBUTE feat. XAVIER AND FRIENDS?

Consistently selling out NYC's Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street, New York, NY) in advance each year, 2016's edition on February 13th brings together an even bigger supporting cadre of talented musical guests for XAVIER (Boys Choir of Harlem alumnus) that will help you get turned on a day early with their salute to soul music's leading ladies.

Among the artists joining Xavier onstage are Amber Martin (Kylie Minogue/Scissor Sisters), Bridget Barkan (Scissor Sisters), Bright Light Bright Light, Cassondra Kellam (Christina Aguilera/Alicia Keys), Colin Smith (Alicia Keys/Paul McCartney), Jo Lampert (JD Samson/Avan Lava), Lady Rizo (Moby/Yo Yo Ma), and Nicki B (NBC Singoff's Traces) and a few surprises.

Tickets for the event are $20 in advance and $25 day of show. They can be purchased here. With its origins celebrating its twelth anniversary this year, The Valentine's Day Ever Ladies of Soul Tribute began initially as a cover song that Xavier recorded and sent to his friends along with iconic album art that is meticulously recreated with Xavier morphing into the original. This year's artwork is a loving homage to Lauryn Hill's best-selling album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Boys Choir Of Harlem alumnus Xavier has received un-coerced praise for his vocal skills from some of the biggest names in the business, including Madonna, Mary J. Blige, Devo, Anita Baker, Lena Horne, D'Angelo, TV on the Radio, The Rapture, and Ashford & Simpson. He's also a Diesel U Music Award nominee and his U.K. debut on Virgin Records entitled "Give Me The Night" earned him a top ten hit. Xavier has collaborated on recordings with Scissor Sisters, New Power Generation, Basement Jaxx vocalists Vula & Sharlene, Diane Birch, Bright Light Bright Light, Stephin Merritt, Sxip Shirey, and LL Cool J. He also performs regularly with Slow Knights - who was named one of the best live acts of 2013 by Next Magazine and - Nova Social.
