Wardrobe and Hair Takes the Spotlight at Tonight's BROADWAY SESSIONS

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

Tonight, October 1st, BROADWAY SESSIONS celebrates the men and women from Broadway's wardrobe and hair departments. Talented performers who make the magic backstage will step into the spotlight to perform.

Scheduled to perform are Jake Fry (American in Paris, Wicked, In the Heights, Priscilla, Evita, Bonnie&Clyde, The Last Ship), William Hubner ( Hamilton,Wicked, Fiddler, Phantom, Grey Gardens, Grease, Beauty and the Beast), Jason Joseph (Big Fish, Bullets Over Broadway, On the 20th Century, Something Rotten, Wicked, Kinky Boots), Ashley Timm (Trip of Love, Jasper in Deadland, Cuff Me), Jonathan Sharpless (Pippin, On the Town, The Heidi Chronicles, Something Rotten, American in Paris), Summer Hyde (Avenue Q), Billy Hipkins (16 Broadway shows, currently Amazing Grace), Kimberly Faye Greenberg (The Lion King, Cabaret, Cinderella, Follies, Grease, Aida, Sweet Charity, Tarzan), Patti Luther (South Pacific, WarHorse, Follies, Motown, Something Rotten) and Brenda O'Brien (The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, SNL, Mark Taper Forum).

BROADWAY SESSIONS takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 West 42nd Street (corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue). Reservations strongly recommended at 212-695-6909. Doors open at 10pm for pre-show open mic. Showtime at 11. $5 drink specials all night. $10 cover includes a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
