On March 30, 2017, Bistro Award-winning Cacophony Daniels (aka Jersey Boys' Courter Simmons) will make her 54 Below debut with "Wanna Bette?," a live-singing cabaret tribute to the one and only Bette Midler.
With musical direction by Kyle Branzel and horns from Grammy-nominated musician Anna Garcia, "Wanna Bette?" is a fun, campy, uproarious evening of songs from the Divine Miss M's entire career to welcome her back to the Broadway stage.
Performed as only Cacophony can - in their original keys - featured songs will follow the Bathhouse beauty from her start on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof, through her Grammy-Award winning albumsThe Divine Miss M and Experience the Divine, all the way through her Oscar-nominated film roles in The Rose and For The Boys.
Michael Musto of the New York Times says Cacophony is "spinning, belting, and high-kicking fun" and Gerry Geddes of BistroAwards.com calls Cacophony "Perfection."
Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased at 54below.com.
Always the loudest girl in the room, singer, actress, over-the-top drag diva, and nightlife personality Cacophony Daniels has been featured on NBC's The Mysteries of Laura (The Mystery of the Popped Pugilist), at Broadway Sessions, and is the current host of the long-running nightlife staple Broadway Mondays at Hardware Bar.
