On Saturday, November 19, SRO (Standing Room Only) Theatre will present a glittering musical journey through its 32-year history featuring performances by dozens of former SRO performers, hosted by the legendary Cabot Rea. "We're Still Here! A Musical Journey" is aimed at celebrating the company's long history through the musicals they have produced as well as to pave the way for the rest of the 2016-2017 season.

SRO's thirty-second season has already seen the hilarious farce of Play On! and the chilling Dracula with the iconic The Lion in Winter and the urbaneHigh Society to follow in 2017. "We have a lot of plans for the future," said SRO president Chuck Pennington, "and we felt this was a great way of reminding the community of the kind of quality entertainment they have enjoyed from SRO in the past and what they can look forward to in the future."

"We're Still Here! A Musical Journey" will include performances from SRO alumni including Hillary Billups, Joe Bishara, Susan Bunsold-Wilson, Dawn Farrell, Ruth Fullen, Bill Hafner, Kim Garrison-Hopcraft, Sharon Kibe, Candice Kight, Don Knoblauch, Ryan Kopycinski, Ron Nocks, Layne Roate, John Schmidt, Jordan Shafer, Paula Shtein, Michelle Weiser and Peggy Williams. They will perform songs from the musicals Chess, Follies, Evita, Annie,Hairspray, Bye Bye Birdie, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd, and SRO's original production, I Was Young... Now I'm Wonderful!

"We're Still Here! A Musical Journey" will be staged on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 8 p.m. in the Shedd Theatre at the Columbus Performing Arts Center located at 549 Franklin Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215.

Tickets are $12 - $25 with discounts for seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased online at www.srotheatre.org. Information on group discounts for 10 or more should be directed to (614) 427-3324.

Founded in 1984 by Dr. Joy Reilly of OSU and known previously as Grandparents Living Theatre and then Senior Repertory of Ohio (SRO), the mission of the Standing Room Only Theatre Company is to produce invigorating theater that breaks generational boundaries.
