In a homage to the ladies, cabaret singer, Gerry Mastrolia is a man who sings songs... sung by women. The show is chocked full of impersonations, stories and songs. From Broadway, standards and cabaret favorites saluting tough divas who didn't take smack from anyone! Ladies like, Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, Carol Burnett, Tallulah Bankhead and more.
Cabaret Entertainer Gerry Mastrolia was most recently seen as a featured guest artist at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Appel Room in "Music Over Manhattan", produced by John Senakwami and starred Cabaret Singer Corinna Sowers Adler. He began in his New York Cabaret career at 19 with his debut solo show, "Me, Myself & Goldie", which played at Don't Tell Mama and Paul Colbys, The Bitter End. Gerry was a finalist in the first installment of "New York's Next Top Drag Queen" and hosted a portion of the "Longest Variety Show Ever: Marathon Variety Show"-Guinness World Record attempt at the Metropolitan Room. Featured on CBS The Couch & E! News for his work in the Off-Broadway show, "Totally Tubular Time Machine".
"Very Gerry: Here's To The Ladies" plays Don't Tell Mama NYC on Sunday, October 23rd at 3pm. Tickets are $15 per person plus a two beverage minimum (Cash Only). The show is directed by MAC Award nominee, Corinna Sowers Adler and will feature Deborah Martin on piano.
