The Laurie Beechman Theatre, at the West Bank Cafe, presents Travis Moser in This Can't Be Love: The Songs of Rodgers and Hart on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7pm. This Can't Be Love: The Songs of Rodgers and Hart celebrates one of the most prolific and legendary songwriting duos of all time. Travis Moser takes the audience on a journey through the Rodgers and Hart songbook, while offering backstage and personal stories about the songs and the shows from which they came. This Can't Be Love features new arrangements of some of Rodgers and Hart's most beloved songs by musical director Steven Silverstein.
Travis is excited to share the stage with special guest Samantha Shafer from Broadway's West Side Story, South Pacific, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and Rocky - The Musical. Travis Moser returns to the NYC cabaret stage after acclaimed runs at 54 Below, The Metropolitan Room, The Laurie Beechman Theatre and The Strand, among many others. Most recently, Travis performed as part of the star studded line up, which included Tony Danza, Annaleigh Ashford and Pia Zadora, in "Remembering Elaine Stritch" honoring the late, great legend. His solo album, This Can't Be Love: The Songs of Rodgers and Hart, based on his show, was recorded live and is now available at all major music retailers. Travis has also recorded a series of singles benefiting The Human Rights Campaign, which are also currently available. Travis's latest album, Live at the Laurie Beechman Theatre is also available from all major music retailers. Regionally, Travis had the opportunity to work with two time Tony Award nominee Margot Sappington in the Pittsburgh Playhouse production of Jekyll and Hyde. Other regional credits include Action in West Side Story, Jack in Into the Woods, Master Nick Cricker in The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoatt, among others.
