FEINSTEIN'S/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "THE WHOLE MEGILLAH" on March 24, 2016 at 9:30pm. From Adam Spiegel and Dan Wolpow, the writers of Cloned! (NYMF 2014 Best of Fest Audience Prize and New York Times Critic's Pick), The Whole Megillah! is a raucous, raunchy and ribald take on the Book of Esther, which tells the ridiculous story of the Jewish holiday of Purim.

THE WHOLE MEGILLAH stars Tony Vincent (American Idiot, We Will Rock You, Rent, The Voice), Tibor Feldman ("The Devil Wears Prada," "Enchanted"), Haley Swindal (Jekyll & Hyde), Julie Benko (Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miserables), Richard E. Waits (The First Wives Club) and Anne Fraser Thomas ( How the Grinch Stole Christmas - The Old Globe ). Rounding out the cast are Carly Frankel (Seussical at The Gallery Players), Nicholas Park (Merrily We Roll Along at the Astoria Performing Arts Center), Ryan Speakman (Pinkalicious: The Musical), and Zachary Spiegel (The Golden Bride). Jamibeth Margolis (The Caine Mutiny Court Martial) directs. Heather Shields (CitySalt Theatricals) serves as General Manager.

"The Whole Megillah" plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on March 24, 2016 at 9:30pm. There is a $25-$35 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Adam Spiegel is a New York-based composer, singer, actor and pianist, among many other things. He has written two full-length musicals: Cloned! (Winner, Best of Fest Audience Prize at NYMF 2014 and New York Times Critic's Pick!); and Camp Rolling Hills (Script and performance rights available through Steele Spring Stage Rights at stagerights.com!) He completed two years as a composer in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, where he worked on a musical adaption of Back To The Future with lyricist Dan Wolpow. As an actor, Adam has been seen as Peter in Vital Theatre Company's Pinkalicious, The Musical! He is the lead singer and keyboard player of the band Brain Salt (www.brainsalt.nyc), and plays keyboards and sings for the band Hide & Seek (www.hideandseekband.com). Adam is a graduate of NYU Steinhardt's program in Music Business.


Dan Wolpow is the lyricist and co-librettist of the award-winning musical "Cloned!" (Best of Fest at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and a New York Times Critic's Pick). He contributed several songs to "Keepers: A Broadway Benefit" which was performed at Studio 54 and later appeared in the New York International Fringe Festival. Dan's music has also been heard in association with the Public Theater's Emerging Writers' Group and his short musical, "A Lunchtime Story," has been performed at Wayne State University. He is a graduate of Cornell University and past participant in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop. He is also a foodie, film enthusiast, and avid video gamer.

Jamibeth Margolis (Director) NYC directing credits include assistant director to Jerry Zaks on the Broadway revival of The Caine Mutiny Court Martial and also on A Bad Friend by Jules Feiffer at Lincoln Center Theater. Jamibeth directed Plane Crazy and Far From The Madding Crowd at the New York Musical Theatre Festival, as well as developmental productions and readings of Owl Creek: A New Musical, The Count Of Monte Cristo, Berlin, Great Googley Moo, Family Dinner, Don't Blame Me...I Voted For Helen Gahagan Douglas, 1812, and more at prominent NYC venues. Jamibeth is the director for the new musical Warsaw and has directed readings and productions of it at Safra Hall, the New York Musical Theater Festival, Boheme Opera, Queens College and Stockton College and Naples, FL! Recent regional credits include directing Tosca and Pirates Of Penzance for Boheme Opera and Do I Hear A Waltz? And Jekyll and Hyde at the Arvada Center Theater in Denver. Jamibeth is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab and specializes in the development of new plays and musicals. Jamibeth also cast some of the longest running shows in Broadway history including Les Miserables, Cats, Miss Saigon, and The Phantom Of The Opera.

Jamibeth also teaches musical theater, acting, and audition technique in studios all around NYC. Jamibeth is a member of Actors' Equity Association, the Casting Society of America, and the Stage Directors And Choreographers Society. She served as a Tony Awards Voter for three Broadway seasons. She holds a BA from Ithaca College in Drama.
