Feinstein's/54 Below has added Tony nominee Stephen Bogardus to From Guffman to Spinal Tap: 54 Sings Christopher Guest Movies, which celebrates Christopher Guest's thirty plus years in filmmaking, on Sunday, January 22nd (7:00pm & 9:30 pm) at Feinstein's/54 Below.
Stephen Bogardus is best known to New York audiences as Whizzer in Falsettos. Other credits include West Side Story, Les Miserables, Safe Sex, King Davis, Man of La Mancha, High Society, James Joyce's The Dead, March of the Falsettos, Falsettoland, and multiple appearances on Another World, All My Children, and Guiding Light.
This past season Stephen Bogardus starred as Daddy Kane in Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's Bright Star.

From Guffman to Spinal Tap: 54 Sings Christopher Guest Movies will include guest appearances by Annie Golden (Orange Is The New Black); Caroline Bowman (Wicked); Lauren Molina (The Skivvies) Claybourne Elder (Bonnie and Clyde); John Bolton (A Christmas Story); George Salazar (Tick..Tick..Boom); Allison Guinn (On the Town); Nathan Gardner (Sweet Smell of Success); Tyler Brunsman (A Very Potter Musical); Rebecca Spigelman (Hairspray); Travis Kent (Disaster); Todd Adamson (Memphis), Sam Seferian (Wicked), and Megan Loughran (Sweeney Todd), Rob Maitner (Urinetown); Kevin Zak (Clinton: The Musical); Brian Michael Henry (Million Dollar Quartet); Emma Stratton (Bullets Over Broadway); and Tally Sessions (Falsettos).
The ensemble consists of Roger Dawley, Michael Hajjar, Jeremy Konopka-White, Sean Konopka White, Matthew McFarland, Spencer Streno, and Sean Switzer.
Emmy Award winning actress Jane Lynch, best known as Glee's Sue Sylvester, will host, via video, a trivia contest.
Ben Rimalower, playwright and star of the hit Off-Broadway sensation Patti Issues, will host both concerts. In a statement, Ben Rimalower said, "I would call myself a Christopher Guest nerd, except that would implicate most people I know. Who isn't obsessed with Waiting for Guffman, Best In Show, This is Spinal Tap and the rest? Only to host such a wonderful event, would I take the night off from memorizing Mascots on Netflix!"
