Tonight, January 26th, twelve established and emerging performers will star in Say My Name; a concert to benefit The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
Say My Name, a one-night only cabaret, will investigate connections between beloved musical theater classics and contemporary songs revolving thematically around names that may be surprising and unexpected. The night guarantees comedy and farce and a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Trevor Project, a charity providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBT youth. Katrina Rose Dideriksen (A Night With Janis Joplin, Hairspray) & Daniel Quadrino (Peter Pan Live, Newsies) will headline the event. Noah Galvin (Love & Information) will debut a song from the Broadway-Bound, TREVOR The Musical.
The January 26 concert will feature Lily Ali-Oshatz, Mary Baynard, Patrick Brady, Nicolas Casaula, Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Hairspray, A Night With Janis Joplin), Noah Galvin (Love & Information), Sean Green Jr (Trailblazers, Grassroots), Sophie Hearn, Mike Hinkle, Devin Lewis (The Visit), Daniel Quadrino (Peter Pan Live, Newsies) and Becca Shulbank-Smith.
Every day, The Trevor Project saves young lives through its accredited, free and confidential phone, instant message and text messaging crisis intervention services. A leader and innovator in suicide prevention, The Trevor Project offers the largest safe social networking community for LGBTQ youth, best practice suicide prevention educational trainings, resources for youth and adults, and advocacy initiatives.
