Thomas, McDowell, et al. Set for Broadway Sessions Special Concert, 1/27

Broadway Sessions is thrilled to celebrate the birthday of theatrical manager Michael Einfeld with a star studded concert event on Thursday, January 27th. Musical director turned reality television star Trapper Felides will also be on hand to offer a sample of performances from his upcoming concert at Les Poisson Rouge.

 Einfeld's clients scheduled to perform include Tracy McDowell (Rent), Marty Thomas (Wicked, Xanadu), Ryan Duncan (Shrek, Altar Boyz), Zach Bandler (With Glee), Jason Edward Cook (With Glee), Kelly King (top selling recording artist), James T Lane (Chorus Line, Scotsboro Boys), Jessica Goldyn (A Chorus Line), Dan Micciche (Chicago), Paul McGill (Memphis), Jeff McLean (Legally Blonde national) and Josh Walden (Ragtime). Trapper Felides is a renowned musical director and arranger. On hand to perform Felides' arrangments on Thursday night will be John Arthur Greene (West Side Story), Celina Carvajal (Toxic Avenger) and Lucas Steele (The Broadway Boys). Felides will offer a concert of his arrangements Monday, January 31st at Les Poisson Rouge at 10pm.

 Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games, comedy and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. It is hosted by Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke on piano. The musical theater themed evening takes place every Thursday evening at the Midtown Theater (163 west 46th street, inside the HA! Comedy Club). There is no cover charge for this event. Doors open at 10:30 pm with showtime at 11 and open mic going til 2 am. Funds will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
