Ben Clark is still a largely unknown composer, unless you've heard his unforgettable music. A new voice in American musical theatre, for the past decade Clark has contributed music and lyrics for three musicals: The Circus in Winter, Skin and Bones, and the very recent Bruno and the Gospel of Infinity. Composing on guitar, drawing influence from artists like Jeff Buckley, Dave Matthews, and Martin Sexton, Clark's writing style is a story-driven blend of folk, Americana, and rock. A new voice with traditional roots needs a venue to match, and there is no better place to make his New York City debut than The Green Room 42.

Ben Clark is a singer/songwriter from Floyds Knobs, IN currently living in NYC. He has three musicals in development, the newest being BRUNO AND THE GOSPEL OF INFINITY (FLMTF The Pitch 2018) SKIN & BONES (Signature Theatre SigWorks 2016) and THE CIRCUS IN WINTER, (Goodspeed Musicals 2014, NAMT 2012). Ben is a graduate of Ball State University Dept. Of Theatre and Dance,where he received fellowship from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, the Eugene O'Neill Musical Theatre Conference, and the Johnny Mercer Songwriting colony. Ben has worked with collegiate undergrad students at his alma mater Ball State, as well as University of Nebraska, Michigan State, and Sheridan College in Canada. Music from his band, Ben Clark and the Long Shadows, will be featured in the independent film A Score To Settle, starring Nicolas Cage, in summer 2019. Clark focuses his writing to create vivid stories and tonal atmospheres, truthfully weaving pieces of his life into the fantasies of his imagination.
