The Green Room 42, Broadway's newest urban entertainment cabaret club, presents A Night on the Town: A Benefit Cabaret on July 22nd at 9:30pm. Join the cast of Waxler Productions' On the Town as they belt out classic and contemporary Broadway tunes. Performers from the casts of Broadway hits like Disaster!, Book of Mormon, and Wicked join the ensemble in a night to benefit the inaugural production.
Tommy Wallace, co-founder and co-producer, will be acting as the director for the evening, as many in this cast make their NYC cabaret debuts alongside veterans of the New York cabaret scene. Tommy Wallace has been an educational and theatrical director and choreographer internationally, and his work can be seen in the upcoming production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the Spotlight Theatre in Illinois.
The performers for this fun evening include Tommy Wallace, Sari Weinerman, Anita Hollander (The Artificial Jungle), Holland Hamilton, Maggie McDowell (Disaster!), Carly Amburn, Steve Geary (Trip Of Love, The Producers, Contact), Logan Pitts, Ben Laxton (Book Of Mormon), Andrea Laxton, Katy Wolfe, Corey Joseph Masklee, Katie Ladner (Wicked, Sunset Boulevard, Heathers), and Corinne Munsch.
All proceeds from this evening will go to the production costs of Waxler Productions first production, an Equity Showcase musical presentation of On the Town at The Martha Graham Studio Theater (55 Bethune Street, New York, NY).
