The Burns Sisters Band, Megan Shull's THE SWAP, Suzanne Vega and More Set for Hangar Theatre's Fall 2014 Shows

After completing its 40th Summer Mainstage Season, the Hangar Theatre has announced its lineup of fall performances and events. From musical performances to book launches, the Hangar has something for everyone. Back to the Garden and The Burns Sisters Band return to the Hangar for cabaret style performances, Mayor Myrick and Ithacapella will help to launch Megan Shull's new book: The Swap, and other musical guests will grace the Hangar Stage including George Winston and Suzanne Vega. After the theatre renovation in 2010, the Hangar Theatre has been proudly hosting a variety of performances and events outside of their notable summer season of self-produced plays and musicals.

Tickets are now on sale for the Hangar's CabarETC productions, Back to the Garden and The Burns Sisters Holiday Concert. Back to the Garden pays tribute to female Folk-Rock trailblazers Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Laura Nyro and will be taking to the stage September 19 & 20 at 8pm.

The Burns Sisters will be performing holiday classics from around the world this December 12 & 13 at 8pm.

All CabarETC tickets start at $18*, and can be purchased online, in person, or over the phone by calling 607.273.ARTS.

  • November 16, 8pm Dan Smalls Presents: An Evening with George Winston

Last spring, the Hangar hosted a variety of musical guests such as The Gunpoets, George Crookston, and Leon Russell. Aside from musical and theatrical performances, the Hangar has provided a space for social gatherings, business meetings, and private events.
