'The After Party' Welcomes Liz McCartney & Kenny Holcomb Tonight

Tonight, Friday March 7 at 10:30PM, "The After Party" is thrilled to welcome Liz McCarney (Taboo) plus host a birthday party for Kenny Holcomb at the West Bank Café (located within the Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 w42nd St.). Admission is free.

Liz McCartney most recently recieved critical acclaim for her portrayal of Florence Foster Jenkins in Souvenir at The George Street Playhouseand played Ruth in the new version of Pirates! at Paper Mill Playhouse. Liz is a veteran on many Broadway musicals; Mamma Mia! as Rosie, she was part of the final cast of Thoroughly Modern Millie. In 2003 she originated the role of Sue Tilley in the Boy George musical Taboo, she also created the role of Rebecca in Dance Of The Vampires. Other Broadway credits include Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera, Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables. She is currently performing her show "Rosemary and Time," a musical tribute to the life of Rosemary Clooney with much success at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Kelly Holcomb burst onto New York's nightlife scene when he became a six time winner of "Cattle Call," a singing competition at midtown hot-spot, Therapy.  He soon opened his debut cabaret act, "On My Way To You," at The Duplex.  His next show, "The Good Songs," opens at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in June of 2008.  In Cherry Grove on Fire Island, Kenny often is featured in Ariel Sinclair's Pool Show and Brandon and Ray's Broadway at the Beach.
