Terri White Returns to Feinsteins, 1/16 & 30

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its Winter 2011 season with the return of Broadway star Terri White on Sundays, January 16 and January 30. Ms. White will perform from the worlds of Broadway, jazz and beyond including selections like "Who Can I Turn To," "When You're Good to Mama" and "Necessity."  Both shows, which features Bobby Peaco on piano and Ivan Bodley on bass, run at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Terri White, who most recently stared on Broadway in Chicago and Finian's Rainbow, is preparing to co-star with Bernadette Peters in Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's "Follies" at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC from May 21 to June 19. Her other notable Broadway credits include the original "Joice Heth" in Barnum with Jim Dale and Glenn Close and as Nell Carter's understudy in 1978 in Ain't Misbehavin', later replacing her in the revival in 1988 with Patti Austin and winning an Obie award for her work in The Club.

Some of her concert work include the New York Pops 25th Anniversary at Carnegie Hall, "Celebrating America" Gettysburg Pops Charles Prince conducting,  "In Studio D" with the Cleveland Ballet, "An Evening of Rodgers and Hammerstein" with the Philly Pops, Peter Nero conducting, and "Anything Cole" with the Gay Men's Chorus at Carnegie Hall. Terri's triumphant return to the Broadway stage was recently featured on CBS with Katie Couric, The New York Times and People Magazine.  She can also be seen on VHS and DVD in Nunsense I & II with Rue McClanahan. Her recordings include Forbidden Broadway 25th Anniversary ("Screamgirls"), and her own CD The Lady's Got To Sing.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Terri White on Sundays, January 16 and January 30 at 8:30 PM.  The show has a $40.00 cover with $60.00 premium seats and an additional $25.00 food and beverage minimum.  Jackets are suggested but not required.
