THE POWER PLAYS To Be Presented at Lone Star Theatre Co 4/18

Lone Star Theatre Company will present THE POWER PLAYS: Six Plays about Strong Texas Women. The event includes six new one-act plays by Robert Askins Playwright Fellows Alan Charnock, Emily Comisar, Judith Leora, and Nilsa Reyna plus special guest playwrights Maxwell Martinez and Ryan Ramirez.

Presented as the fourth annual Texas One Acts Festival, this event is directed by Melissa Farinelli and features a stellar cast of women including Kendra Augustin, Michelle Caniglia, Lillian Andrea De Leon, Vivian Lam, Mandy Murphy, Robie M. Park, and Shetal Shah.

Now in it's fourth season, Lone Star Theatre Co is dedicated to bringing Texas Pages to New York stages. Whether a play is by a Texas playwright, or features Texas talent and ingenuity, Lone Star Theatre aims to bring you entertaining theatrical events that will whisk you away from city life.

THE POWER PLAYS will be presented as a reading on April 18th at the Hourglass Tavern at 7pm. Admission is free.
