Wonkybot Studios has dropped the first episode of "Tara Tremendous: Making Of A Musical," a new digital documentary series that takes you behind the scenes of the Tara Tremendous musical creators (and Wonkybot company founders) as they adapt their #1 iTunes kids and family podcast into a concert show for Feinstein's 54/Below and, hopefully, Broadway.

In the premiere episode, "The Journey Begins," we meet the Wonkybots and learn the origins of the Tara Tremendous musical concert and its ties to Broadway Records CEO Van Dean and Mia Moravis, producers currently involved with Broadway's Anastasia The Musical.

Upcoming episodes will feature interviews with the cast, including Micky Dolenz (The Monkees), Matilda The Musical's Mimi Ryder, Kecia Lewis, Bart Shatto, Brian Charles Rooney, Ramsey Whitney, Mary Stout and more.

"The digital series is a way for us to raise awareness of the musical and garner support from the community to help us take the show from concert to a full Broadway production," said Todd Fisher.

Tara Tremendous tells the origin story of 11-year-old Tara Callahan who goes from ordinary to extraordinary overnight when she accidentally acquires the powers of every superhero on Earth. It was adapted for the stage by Stewart St John (from his original podcast), with over 20 songs composed by St John and musical partner Michael Plahuta.

Episodes are 10-15 minutes each and will air on Wednesdays throughout May, leading to the release of the Official Cast Album from Broadway Records and Wonkybot Studios in early July.
