Craving a sweet? Want to sink your teeth into something savory? On Monday, January 31st you can indulge all your appetites at SWEET & NASTY: The Show. The "legendary" Nasty Canasta (The Brooklyn Paper) and her striptease superstars kick off six months of tassel-twirling at Manhattan's fabulous Crash Mansion with a night of Lilliths and Lolitas, minxes and madonnas, candy-coated cuties and the bad girls of bump-and-grind!
"Life is nothing but hard choices and compromises," says Canasta, "but for one night only, you get to have it all: the spicy and the sweet, the nasty and the nice." The evening will feature tease and titillation by B.B. Heart, Bunny Love, The Alabaster Beauty Miss Ruby Valentine, and of course host Nasty Canasta, "The Girl With The 44-Double-D Brain."
Since 2006 Sweet and Nasty has been adding its own unique mix of glam camp, historical fact, and blatant lies to the New York burlesque scene, and currently appears at Crash Mansion on the last Monday of every month. Their January extravaganza SWEET & NASTY: The Show begins at 8:30pm with vintage blue cinema, plus dinner and small bites available from the kitchen; the floor show kicks off promptly at 9:00pm. Sweet and Nasty is sponsored by Blue Streak Fancywear, whose unique handmade pasties and naughty knitting will be available for purchase at the show.
Join Nasty Canasta, B.B. Heart, Bunny Love and Ruby Valentine for Sweet & Nasty Burlesque - two great tastes that taste great together (but please: don't lick the dancers!) - at Crash Mansion on Monday, January 31st, beginning at 8:30pm.
