Two of daytime television's most popular actors will be performing their original country music in an intimate acoustic performance at Feinstein's 54Below on Tuesday April 17 at 9:30 PM.
Emmy-award winner
Jacob Young is a familiar face to daytime television fans for his roles as Rick Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful" and JR Chandler on the classic "All My Children." He has garnered six Emmy nominations, winning the Emmy for his performance as Lucky Spencer on "General Hospital."
Jacob made his Broadway debut as Lumiere in "Disney's Beauty and the Beast." Feinstein's 54Below marks Jacob's first return to a New York stage since a reading of
Ben Elton's "Popcorn," with
Sharon Stone and
Stacy Keach directed by
Mark Rozzano at The
Friars Club. Jacob's other stage appearances include "
Agatha Christie's The Unexpected Guest," with
Stefanie Powers and touring US casinos as the musical opening act for "A Night with
Joan Collins."
Since embarking on a solo country music career, Jacob performed his original songs in concerts last year in Las Vegas at The Tropicana Hotel and at The Southpoint Hotel Showroom. He has recently released two original singles "Better Than A Love Song" and "Fool For You" plus a forthcoming single "Whiskey Kiss," which are available for download on all the major digital music platforms.
Two-time Emmy nominee
Scott Reeves is known to television audiences as Noel Laughlin on ABC's "Nashville," and to soap fans as
Steven Weber on "General Hospital" and Ryan McNeil on "The Young and the Restless." Scott has received multiple CMA and ACM nominations for Vocal Duo of the Year with his duo group Blue Country. Scott tours the world performing country music and is a member of the popular band "Port Chuck" alongside his TV co-stars from "General Hospital." Joining Scott on stage as a special guest star will be You Tube sensation
Emily Reeves, Scott's singer/songwriter daughter.
