Jamie McGonnigal and Joe's Pub present the 5th incarnation of their hit series in "FLOPZ n' CUTZ 5" on Sunday, March 15th at 9:30pm.

FLOPZ n' CUTZ, the series named a "SMASH!" by NEXT Magazine, aims to acquaint theatre enthusiasts with shows and songs that, while not quite successful in their original incarnations, still have merits that can be showcased in a concert setting.

Currently scheduled to perform are Loni Ackerman (Evita, The Magic Show), Kathy Deitch (Wicked, Footloose), Santino Fontana (Billy Elliot, Fantasticks), Ann Harada (Avenue Q, Les Miserables), Tyler Hanes (A Chorus Line, Sweet Charity), Carly Jibson (Hairspray, Cry Baby), Leigh Ann Larkin (Gypsy), Ashley Fox Linton (Wicked), Alli Mauzey (Wicked, Cry-Baby), Liz McCartney (Mamma Mia!, Taboo), Kerry O'Malley (White Christmas, Into the Woods), Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde, Jekyll & Hyde), Christopher Sieber (Shrek, Triumph of Love) and Jake Wilson (The Battery's Down).

The previous sold-out incarnations of the "Flopz n' Cutz" concerts at Joe's Pub have featured music from such notorious shows as Grind, Rags, Bring Back Birdie, Bright Lights Big City, Lunch, Annie Warbucks, Faust, Do I Hear A Waltz?, Urban Cowboy, King of Hearts, Seussical, Frogs, Dance of the Vampires, Annie Warbucks, Carrie, and dozens more. We've also featured songs cut from such shows as Fiddler on the Roof, Chicago, Spelling Bee, Sweet Charity, ...Forum, and many more.

FLOPZ n' CUTZ 5 will be directed and produced by McGonnigal and musically directed by Michael Lavine. A portion of the proceeds will be used to benefit The Lambda Legal Defense Fund. For more information, please visit www.lambdalegal.org.

Jamie McGonnigal (Producer/Director) has worked as an actor, director, producer, and activist in the New York area for ten years. Having founded and produced the World AIDS Day Concerts, Jamie brought some of the most exciting concert revivals in recent years to the stage - including Children of Eden at the Riverside Cathedral, Pippin starring Rosie O'Donnell and Ben Vereen, The Secret Garden (named in the top five theatrical events of 2005 by Playbill.com) and Rags at Times Square's Nokia Theatre. He created concert series including NEO for the York Theatre, Flopz n' Cutz, Broadway Loves the 80s, Miracle Holiday Concerts
and has been proud to showcase new writers Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, Nick Blaemire and dozens more. Jamie is also known for his humanitarian work, having been camp director for Camp TLC, a summer camp for inner-city teens living with HIV/AIDS, and in the summer of 2007, he traveled for two months to Namibia and South Africa working with the UN's HERO Campaign.
