FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Samantha Joy Pearlman in Summer in the City: The Music of Regina Spektor on May 5th, 2017 at 11:30pm. Returning to Feinstein's/54 Below after her sold-out performance of Duckling/Swan, Samantha Joy Pearlman celebrates the music of Regina Spektor. Summer in the City: The Music of Regina Spektor will feature material spanning her entire body of work, drawn from her studio recordings like Begin to Hope and her most recent release Remember Us to Life-even some of her obscure, unreleased demos. With this concert, Samantha pays homage to Regina's quirky, bad-ass, Grammy-Award nominated "brilliant songcraft" (Rolling Stone).

Featuring special guests like Hamilton's Anthony Lee Medina, In Transit's Gerianne Pérez, choreographer/dancer Jenn Rose, Katie Drinkard, Brittany Lane Faucher, Shannon Remley, the Meraki Chamber Players and more to come. Directed by Mia Walker (Waitress, Finding Neverland, Pippin). Musical Direction/Orchestration by Andrew Fox. Plus a special Vocal Arrangement by Evan Feist. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to support the International Refugee Assistance Project.

Samantha Joy Pearlman (Performer/Writer) is thrilled to present this evening of Regina's beautiful music alongside such generous and wonderful artists. She has performed at prestigious venues such as Paper Mill Playhouse, Walnut Street Theatre, George Street Playhouse, The Kimmel Center, the Ivoryton Playhouse and The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. She recently completed the 54 Below Concert Lab at Feinstein's/54 Below for her new original show Duckling/Swan. Plus she assistant directed and performed in the Songs of Protest concert alongside Andrew and Evan last month. Her other original show, Devotedly, Sincerely Yours: The Story of the USO, has now been performed at the Annenberg Center for Performing Arts, Broadway Theatre of Pitman and the Forestburgh Playhouse. Andrew Fox (Music Director/Orchestrator) has been music directing, orchestrating, producing, and teaching for nearly a decade. In 2012, the New York Musical Theatre Festival presented him with the Outstanding Musical Direction and Outstanding Arrangements awards for Foreverman: The Musical. He has also produced the cast albums for Starkid's Twisted and Justin Roberts' Hansel and Gretel, and was recently the subject of an Al Jazeera English documentary Rebel Education for his innovative work teaching pop songwriting and production in Armenia. Director Pat Cerasaro's credits include collaborating with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman on the New York City premiere of their musical Whistle Down The Wind as well as a series of unprecedented special concert events created with Steinman at Feinstein's/54 Below including Total Eclipse, Paradise Found and Steinman Stripped.

Anthony Lee Medina (Guest Vocalist) currently stars in HAMILTON as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton. Medina has also been seen as Otto in the first national tour of Spring Awakening, Usnavi in In the Heights at Theater Under the Stars, and Young Sal in The Public Theater's The Capeman. TV Credits include Blue Bloods (CBS), The Carrie Diaries (The CW), High Maintenance (HBO) and Flesh and Bone (STARZ).

Gerianne Pérez (Guest Vocalist) -Past credits include: Kathy in In Transit (Original Broadway Cast), Vanessa in In the Heights (Hangar Theatre), Vocalosity (First National Tour), Rizzo in Grease (North Shore Music Theatre), Marisol in Volleygirls (NYMF), and various concerts at Joe's Pub, Town Hall, and 54 Below. The Meraki Chamber Players (Band) are a chamber music collective dedicated to presenting contemporary classical music in new and creative ways. They are passionate proponents of new music, and to date have commissioned eight new works from young composers. Their current project, Rhapsody in Brew, an eclectic pairing of beer and music, features a chamber arrangement of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue by Andrew Fox as well as a new work Joe Young, and premiered at Brooklyn's Kings County Brewing Collective this March. They will be an Ensemble-in-Residence this summer at Connecticut Summerfest.

Jenn Rose (Guest Dancer) is a choreographer, dancer, film maker, and teaching artist. She has choreographed over 20 regional theatre productions with the most recent being A New Brain (Theatre Horizon), The Stinky Cheese Man (Arden Theatre), and American Idiot (Roxy Regional Theatre). Jenn recently received a Barrymore Award for excellence in theatre choreography for her work on The Black Nativity(Theatre Horizon). She is the founder and artistic director of Loose Screws Contemporary Tap Dance Company and has been commissioned to set new work for Ballet Fleming, Drexel University, Ursinus College, 213 Productions, and multiple dance studios throughout the country. Evan Feist (Guest Vocal Arranger) is so excited to be back with this team after Songs of Protest last month. Evan made his Feinstein's/54 Below debut in January debut arranging and performing in the sold-out Broadway Goes A Cappella. Next up is Broadway Goes A Cappella 2 on July 10. Feist has vocal coached for NBC's The Voice, worked for America's Got Talent, and teaches a cappella workshops all over the country with his company, Creative Vocal Lab. In 2014, the New York Musical Theatre Festival presented him with the Outstanding Musical Direction and Outstanding Arrangements awards for A Cappella: the musical. Earlier this month, Evan was hired to run the world's first all vocal and a cappella TV channel, FloVoice.

Katie Drinkard (Guest Vocalist) is an actor, singer and poet originally from Denver, Colorado. She is beyond delighted to be included in this evening dedicated to one of her favorite artists and songstresses! Recent credits: Chasing Rainbows at Flat Rock Playhouse, Far From Canterbury at Soho Playhouse, and Forbidden Broadway at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
