Songs in the Key of: "I Don't Give a F***!" (A Concert to Benefit the World Premiere of Troll by Ken Greller) is set for Monday, Feburary 29, 2016 at 9:00 pm at The Duplex, located at 61 Christopher Street (at 7th Ave).
Michelle Dowdy (Hairspray, A Brass Act) hosts and Drew Wutke musically directs a cast of the most badass performers from Broadway and the cabaret world. They get 5 minutes to do whatever the f*** they want in a no-holds-barred concert benefiting the world-premiere production of TROLL, a new play by Ken Greller for The Rushline Company.
Rarely does a performer get to perform whatever they f*** they want. Whether it's a perfected audition cut, or previously chosen tune for a songwriter's showcase, most of the time your favorite performer is told what to sing.
Featuring performances by Robert Anthony Jones (Finding Neverland), Christy Altomare (Mamma Mia!, Carrie: The Musical), Laura Dreyfuss (FOX's Glee, Once, the upcoming Dear Evan Hansen), Christine Dwyer (Broadway's Wicked), Liam Forde (Bistro and Nightlife Award-winning cabaret artist), Jessica Vosk (Fiddler on the Roof, Finding Neverland), and more, Songs in the Key of "I DON'T GIVE A F***!" will be a night of New York's hottest performers doing the songs they're dying to sing.
Proceeds from this event will go toward The Rushline Company's world-premiere production of TROLL, a new play by Ken Greller. TROLL runs April 7-24 at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City.
