Sharron Matthews, named the "Redheaded Canadian Goddess of Cabaret" by the Scotsman Newspaper, "Best Cabaret Performance of 2015" by BroadwayWorld, "Best Cabaret Performer" by Toronto's Now Magazine, and the "#1 Cabaret in New York City in 2010" by NiteLife Exchange and WPAT Radio, is touring her new show: SharRon Matthews NAKED to Feinstein's/54 Below in NYC for ONE NIGHT ONLY and Buddies in Bad Times for three glorious nights.
It's been six long years since Sharron's exciting, sold-out, two-night NYC debut at Joe's Pub, in New York City and two years since her last full cabaret in Toronto, so she's excited and ready to get NAKED.
Spinning the music of AC/DC, Amy Winehouse, Chaka Kahn, Beyoncé, Annie Lennox, Cheap Trick, P!NK, Coldplay, U2, Serena Ryder, the Beatles and more into her acclaimed, singular musical arrangements, Sharron takes you straight to the bone with her spellbinding stories of want, of need, of love, of fear and, as always, of hysterical joy. In NAKED, Sharron strips down musically and emotionally, pulling the audience into this intimate performance in a way that is both moving and breathtaking.
Sharron has been performing her SOLD OUT cabarets from South Africa to New York for the last 11 years, and this is one of her finest moments. In Sharron Matthews NAKED, there is truly something for every music lover, comedy lover, as well as the lover of a good story. It is not to be missed.

Sharron Matthews is perhaps best known around the world as "Joan the secretary" - serving up comedic gold and playing opposite Tina Fey in the film Mean Girls, but it's her internationally acclaimed cabarets that leave audiences begging for more. In 2010, "Sharron Matthews Superstar: World Domination Tour" was named "#1 Cabaret in New York City" by NiteLife Exchange. In 2011, she received the Scotsman's "Best Of The Fest" for "Jesus Thinks I'm Funny". And in 2012, Sharron toured "Sharron Matthews GOLD" to Toronto, Scotland, London, New York City, and Cape Town, South Africa. Along the way, Sharron was named "Woman of the Year" by The New Current (UK), and "One of the Top Cabarets of the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe" by the Scotsman. In 2013, Sharron began her three-year residency as Canada's first Cabaret-Artist-In-Residence at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. In 2015, Sharron was named "Best Cabaret Perfromance" by Broadway World, opened for "Kids in the Hall's" Bruce McCullough, and appeared on a SOLD OUT tour of Alberta and the East Coast with Canadian Icon Mary Walsh. On stage, Sharron has played a variety of leading roles including Lottie in Hal Prince's Showboat, Madame Thernardier in Les Miserables (opposite Colm Wilkinson and Sutton Foster), the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Babette in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz (Dora Award nomination), and Love, Loss, and What I Wore (alongside Andrea Martin). In 2016, Sharron hosted, co-wrote and consulted on two TV pilots for Canada's Slice TV, called "MEME gURL", and she also starred for two seasons on Global TV's hit reality show, Canada Sings, which was nominated for the prestigious Realscreen Award. Sharron continues to tour extensively across her native Canada, as well as furthering development on a cabaret for kids with the Young People's Theatre in Toronto, and performing a month long run of her new show, "Girl Crush" at Lunch Box Theatre in Calgary. Most recently, Sharron finished shooting on the movie, "Buckout Road" starring Danny Glover and Evan Ross, and completed a tour of the Northwest U.S. on a cabaret tour that took her through Idaho and Washington State.
