Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents BROADWAY GOES TO THE MOVIES on August 22nd, 2016, a stat studded tribute to the silver screen.
Performers include EGOT winners Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson Lopez (Frozen), Tony Award winner Christopher Durang and Dawne (Vanya, Sonya, Masha and Spike) Claybourne Elder (The Carrie Diaries), Caroline Bowman (Wicked), Emmy nominee Tovah Feldshuh (The Walking Dead), Seth Sikes (Mostly Judy Garland), Tally Sessions (Big Fish), and Austin Pendelton (My Cousin Vinny). More artists will be announced in upcoming weeks.
From Snow White to Frozen, 007 to 8 Mile, Singin' in the Rain to South Park, this concert will take audiences on a dazzling cinematic journey through some of film's greatest musical moments, as seen through the eyes of an eclectic group of Broadway artists, all who will share a memory about their own movie experiences.
The concert is directed and produced by Robert W. Schneider. Joshua Zecher-Ross is the evening's musical director.
BROADWAY GOES TO THE MOVIES! plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on August 22nd, 2016, at 7:00pm and 9:30pm. There is a $40-$40 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum.
