Dog Whistle is an incisive look into the world of modern politics - at the center of a story is a senatorial race in Ohio. Two candidates are racing to see who can abandon their principles first: the incumbent Democrat, or the Republican "change candidate." In the middle of it all is a woman who seeks help from both of them. As the campaign moves along, it becomes clear that each candidate will do anything to win, and then, a tragedy occurs. How will the candidates respond?
Dog Whistle holds a mirror up to the current state of politics, and how callow our elected representatives on both sides have become.
DiSario joins a cast that features Loni Ackerman, Blake Armitstead, Carolann DiPirro, Anthony Gasbarri, Quinn Jackson, and Nasser Metcalfe, Noah Mogaka, with additional cast members soon to be announced.
Megan Minutillo directs.
