The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel has announced the Café Carlyle's fall 2014 season, which features a number of celebrated artists playing the legendary venue for the first time, including Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, Molly Ringwald and Rita Wilson; as well as the return of audience favorites Buster Poindexter, John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey, and Steve Tyrell.

With film credits including Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Fly, The Big Chill, Igby Goes Down, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Le Weekend; theatre performances including Seminar, The Pillowman and Domesticated; and television appearances including "Portlandia" and "Will & Grace," Jeff Goldblum now brings his jazz band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, with whom he performs regularly at Los Feliz's Rockwell Table and Stage, to open the Café Carlyle fall season, September 16-20. The show marks both his Café debut, as well as the band's New York premiere.

Although Rita Wilson is well known as an actress (It's Complicated, Sleepless in Seattle, and recurring roles on CBS' The Good Wife and HBO's Girls) and film producer (discovered My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Mamma Mia!), few may be aware that her early show business ambitions we actually musical. Beginning with her 2012 debut album AM/FM (Decca Records), Rita has gone on to hone her career as a songwriter, working with celebrated songwriting partners including GRAMMY Award winner Richard Marx, and is set to release her sophomore album in early 2015. She makes her Carlyle debut in a two-week engagement, September 24-October 4.

Getting her start in the iconic John Hughes films The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Pretty In Pink, Molly Ringwald has added stage actress, writer and jazz singer to her resume. She's starred in Broadway productions of the Pulitzer Prize winning How I Learned to Drive; the revival of Cabaret; Tony-nominated Enchanted April and the West End production of When Harry Met Sally. She's written two books, 2011's Getting the Pretty Back and 2013's When It Happens to You, and has recently released her debut recording with Concord Records Except Sometimes (April 2013). Ringwald will make her Carlyle debut in An Evening with Molly Ringwald, October 7-18.

As a founding member of the New York Dolls and in a prolific solo career, David Johansen has been a seminal force in rock and roll, influencing countless singers and bands to this day. Equally rare is Johansen's having created an alter ego, with a different name and style, and with his own extraordinary achievements: Buster Poindexter, an elegant crooner and R&B balladeer. His late 80s single "Hot Hot Hot" made him a staple on radio charts, MTV and the NYC club scene. His previous one-night only engagements at the Café have been sellouts. He now returns to the room in a limited five-night engagement, October 21-25.

Husband-and-wife duo John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey make their annual fall pilgrimage to The Carlyle with an all-new show, October 28-November 22. They return following their hit show "Children and Art," which The New York Times called "wonderful."

GRAMMY Award-winner Steve Tyrell celebrates his 10th anniversary performing in Café Carlyle's revered holiday slot, having taken over for the legendary Bobby Short in 2005, with an all new show. The five-week engagement runs November 25-December 31.

Throughout the season, Woody Allen will continue to perform Monday nights with the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band.
