Feinstein's/54 Below will present the triumphant return of Rita McKenzie's award-winning ETHEL MERMAN'S BROADWAY, the country's longest-running one woman musical. This special one-night-only event will be presented on Tuesday, October 27th at 7 PM at Feinstein's/54 Below as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Rita McKenzie has performed her critically acclaimed show throughout the world -- from New York's Carnegie Hall to Pasadena Playhouse -- from Canada to Europe and Asia. And now she's back in New York City for this one performance and this great cause.

ETHEL MERMAN'S BROADWAY is a love letter to the life and times of Ethel Merman, the Queen of Broadway's Golden Age. Ms. McKenzie brings to life more than 16 of the greatest hits of Broadway in this thrilling show which recalls the glorious days of the Great White Way and its brightest Star. Written by Christopher Powich and Ms. McKenzie and directed by Mr. Powich, McKenzie triumphs in a role in which she recreates the excitement of La Merm. A night to remember!

Ms. McKenzie is currently co-starring Off-Broadway in the smash hit musical RUTHLESS! She has performed in the national tour of Neil Simon's female version of The Odd Couple, co-starring with Barbara Eden, in which he was honored for her outstanding portrayal of Olive Madison with a National Broadway Theatre nomination as Best Actress in a Touring Play. She also recently toured with Renee Taylor and Joe Bologna in their production of Bermuda Avenue Triangle. Ms. McKenzie created the role of Phoebe Farber in Sam Harris' production of Hurry! Hurry! Hollywood! in Los Angeles, and she played Maggie Jones in the 42nd Street tour with Mariette Hartley. She also toured the U.S. in Merman's signature role as Annie Oakley in the 50th anniversary production of Annie Get Your Gun opposite Glenn Yarbrough. Ms. McKenzie has had the privilege of opening for stars such as Steve Allen, Don Knotts, Norm Crosby and Milton Berle and she has been an acclaimed Pops guest artist with virtually every major symphony across the country. An accomplished TV and film actress, Ms. McKenzie played Alice, the housekeeper, on Fox's "Unauthorized Brady Bunch: The Final Days," has guest-starred on NBC's "Caroline in the City," Mrs. Littlejohn on NBC's "Frasier," Rita Marcus on the Family Channel's "Big Brother Jake" and her recurring role on "Daddy Dearest," starring Richard Lewis and Don Rickles.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, is the new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife.
