Award-winning New York based writer and performer Tim Realbuto, who will star in the upcoming motion picture YES (based on his stage play of the same name), will bring his popular 'Because I Can' concert series to an end at the Triad Theatre on Friday, February 9th, 2018 at 7:00 PM. He premiered his first 'Because I Can' concert at The Metropolitan Room last April and performed part two earlier this month at The Triad. The Metropolitan Room has been the producer of all three 'Because I Can' shows, but the second incarnation and now the third and final one will be performed at The Triad as The Metropolitan Room is in the middle of moving locations.

In 'Tim Realbuto: BECAUSE I CAN - PART III', expect an evening of songs that Realbuto has always wanted to sing ranging from Sondheim to Fiona Apple. You can also expect a full ensemble, Broadway guest stars, prize giveaways, and a band led by Julianne B. Merrill (who will also sing), Realbuto's long-time musical director. Realbuto, who co-wrote the musical 'Ghostlight' with best friend Matthew Martin, will also sing an original song from the hit NYMF show, with Mr. Martin at the piano.

Remy Zaken (SPRING AWAKENING; DEAR EVAN HANSEN) will join a lineup of Broadway guest stars including the previously announced Chris Sumpter (MATILDA THE MUSICAL); and Sofia Trimarchi (FUN HOME). Also featured in the cast are Natalie Ballenger (WEST SIDE STORY International Tour); Yvette Bedgood (FREEDOM'S SONG); Grace Bennett (DOOPLES the musical); Mindy Cassle (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at The Compass Rose Theatre); Nicole Corris (MEMORY: THE MUSIC OF Andrew Lloyd Webber); Mallory Escott (54 BELOW SINGS Jeanine Tesori); Grace Field (AFTER WE'RE GONE); Deborah Heagen (URINETOWN THE MUSICAL - New Jersey Premiere); Rachel Horner (STAGES: A LEGACY IN REVUE); Teresa Hui (Hulu's "DIFFICULT PEOPLE"); Elliot Kleinburd (WEST SIDE STORY at Boheme Opera); Erin Leddy (GHOSTLIGHT the musical); Justin Luckenbaugh (THE DROWSY CHAPERONE at Livingston Theatre Company); Brianna Morris (YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN at Next Stage Rep.); Jennifer Mutnick-Andes (GUYS AND DOLLS at The Access Theatre); Lieselotte Nickmans (BROADWAY'S RISING STARS at Town Hall); Chazmond J. Peacock (OLIVER! National Tour); Kevin Riddagh (WUNDERKIND at NYMF); Shannon Rowland (THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE at The Hudson Guild Theatre); Joshua J. Schwartz (42nd STREET National Tour); Eric Stephenson (THE FACEBOOK FIGHTER at The Pershing Square Signature Theatre); Lauren Testerman (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: ONCE MORE WITH FEELING); Adena Walker (THE BAKER'S WIFE at The Gallery Players); Steve Walsh (OCCUPATION: DRAGONSLAYER); Paul Mitchell Wilder (SUPER! THE MUSICAL at FringeNYC); and Eva Zazzali (BROADWAY'S NEXT GENERATION at Carnegie Hall).

Tickets are priced at only $15 and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to The Trevor Project, an organization founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film 'TREVOR.' The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
