Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents rising star Rebecca LaChance in her debut solo cabaret, BROADWAY: WHAT THE FOLK? on Thursday June 9th at 9:30PM.
After performing in BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL on Broadway and starring opposite Michael Ball in MACK AND MABEL in the UK, Rebecca is inspired to share her unique voice in a night celebrating the hungry, hopeful spirit of musical theatre and its unexpected fellow folk.
Enjoy an evening full of heart and humor featuring classics from the Broadway canon alongside folk favorites by the likes of Crosby, Stills & Nash, James Taylor, and the Fleet Foxes, plus a selection of new and exciting original music. Shining the spotlight on this promising talent and her expressive, versatile voice, this show is sure to thrill theatergoers and folk lovers alike.
The show will feature music direction by Mark T Evans (Let My People Come with Forslund Theatricals, T he Judy H olliday S tory at NY Fringe, NJ Rep) and guest performances by Emily Olson (LA Premiere Parade), Déa Julien (1st National Tour W est S ide S tory, Intimacy at the New Group), and Mark Banik (1st National Tour Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Brightness of H eaven at Cherry Lane). Evans and Olson also compose and play with LaChance in folk-pop band Lucky Sons which will reunite for a few numbers at this special night of music!
