This month, Olivier Award nominee and celebrated Broadway favorite Brent Barrett (Chicago; Kiss Me, Kate; Annie Get Your Gun) will debut his new cabaret act "LIFE IS: THE SONGS OF KANDER & EBB" at New York's famed Metropolitan Room (34 W. 22nd St.). Directed by Barry Kleinbort with musical direction by Christopher Denny, "LIFE IS" is a musical celebration of the legendary Broadway songwriting team of John Kander and Fred Ebb, the creators of more than a dozen hit Broadway shows, including Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Steel Pier, Curtains and, most recently, The Scottsboro Boys.
"LIFE IS" will play three performances only -- Monday, November 10 at 9:30 p.m.; Wednesday, November 12 at 7 p.m. and Thursday, November 13 at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $30-$115 and are now available at www.metropolitanroom.com or by calling 212-206-0440.
