The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present the return of songwriter/performer Lance Horne to the series. The new show, "Lance & the Ladies," featured musical guests Leslie Gore, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Lauren Flanigan, Julia Murney, Gabrielle Stravelli, Stephanie d'Abruzzo, Julie Garnye, and Kate Rigg. The cast performed songs from Horne''s acclaimed cd, First Things Last, in addition to new songs and selections from The Night Before My Wedding, Horne''s opera written with Neil Gaiman.
The Broadway at Birdland concert series takes place every Monday night at the historic music room, followed by Jim Caruso's Cast Party.
