Composer and lyricist Michael Mott presented THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS HOW: AN EVENING WITH MICHAEL MOTT & FRIENDS on April 7, featuring Broadway star Jeremy Jordan and more at 54 Below. Scroll down for photos from the concert!

THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS HOW chronicled Mott's journey from small town dreamer to one of theatre's most promising new songwriters. Joined by some of Broadway and pop's most recognizable talents, Michael shared a personal side of himself in an intimate evening of stories and songs in That Was Then, This Is How. Audiences heard brand new music from his original musicals, Mob Wife - A Mafia Comedy and Faustus, as well as the premiere of stand alone theatre and pop songs. Featuring Mott at the piano, some of his closest friends and favorite vocalists stopped by to sing from his diverse body of work.

Guest singers included Tony and Grammy Award nominee Jeremy Jordan (The Last Five Years, Newsies, Bonnie & Clyde), Adrienne Warren (Bring It On, Dreamgirls), Marissa McGowan (A Little Night Music, Bonnie & Clyde), Jason Simon (Paint Your Wagon), and Jacqueline Petroccia (Sweeney Todd, Carousel), as well as rising Broadway star Emma Howard (Matilda, Violet).

Back-up singers include Shauna Goodgold, Isaac Matthews and Lindsay Rider. The concert was musical directed by Jeff Cox with direction by Hunter Bird. Produced by Shoshana Feinstein.
