The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to host the return of singer/impressionist Christina Bianco in concert on Monday, May 29. BroadwayWorld has photos from the evening below!
After a smashing, sold-out concert in April, singer/impressionist Christina Bianco returned to her Birdland home with an all-new, fully interactive show! Brian Nash was musical director for the one-night-only event. With Christina's versatile vocals and Brian's encyclopedic musical knowledge, the duo gave an off-the-cuff musical experience in which the material on the set list was entirely up to the audience! Audience members chose which songs they wanted the duo to perform, and by which pop diva. Anything from 80's pop anthems to weepy musical theatre ballads or cartoon theme songs...it was a hysterical evening of spontaneous and impromptu fun. Special mention goes to Christina's performance of "Livin' La Vida Loca" as Edith Piaf!
The Broadway at Birdland concert series takes place every week on the stage of the historic music room, located at 315 West 44 Street, in the heart of Manhattan's theater district.
