On Monday, February 5th, Feinstein's/54 Below presented a one-night only, sold out concert production of Paul Scott Goodman's Bright Lights, Big City.

Bright Lights, Big City follows a week in the life of Jamie, a successful young writer who loses himself in the chaos of 1980s New York City. The musical originally premiered Off-Broadway in 1999 at New York Theatre Workshop and went on to a celebrated concept recording, London production, and various concert productions. Paul Scott Goodman, is the first solo recipient of the Jonathan Larson Foundation Award.

Matt Doyle (The Book Of Mormon, The Heart of Rock & Roll) led the cast as Jamie. Also featured were Christy Altomare (Anastasia, Mamma Mia!) as Vicky, Mia Gerachis (Elf) as Elaine, Annie Golden (Netflix's Orange Is The New Black) as Clara, Celeste Hudson(Beardo) as Theresa, Taylor Iman Jones (Head Over Heels, Groundhog Day) as Amanda, Emily Koch (Wicked, Waitress) as Coma Baby, Danny Harris Kornfeld (RENT, Renasence) as Michael, Charlotte Maltby (The Sound Of Music) as Mary O'Brien McCann, Julia Murney (Wicked, The Wild Party) as Mom, Margo Seibert (Rocky, In Transit) as Megan and Phil Sloves (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Tad. The evening also featured Danté Jeanfelix (Balls), Adam Maggio (Ragtime), and Ben Schrager (ms. Estrada, The Flea).

The evening was directed by Alex Tobey, music directed by Ben Caplan and produced by Jen Sandler.
