Acclaimed singer/actress Gina Gershon makes her Café Carlyle debut with Wild Women Don't Get the Blues, June 5-16. Gina Gershon has enjoyed a successful and diverse career in entertainment, earning acclaim as a film, television and stage actor, as a singer/songwriter/musician and most recently as an author. Gershon's prolific film career began when she landed her first speaking role with a memorable turn in John Hughes' box office hit Pretty in Pink. Some of her previous roles in film include Paul Verhoeven's Showgirls, the Wachowskis' Bound, Red Heat opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cocktail opposite Tom Cruise, John Sayles's City of Hope, Robert Altman's The Player, the John Woo blockbuster Face/Off opposite John Travolta and Nicolas Cage, and Michael Mann's Oscar-nominated The Insider opposite Al Pacino and Christopher Plummer. Gershon was also in Richard LaGravenese's P.S. I Love You and Taylor Hackford's Love Ranch opposite Helen Mirren. At the Café, she'll be joined by an all-star band including Steven Bernstein (trumpet), Eli Brueggemann (piano), Brad Jones (bass), and Jerome Jennings (drums).

Performances will take place Tuesday - Saturday at 8:45pm. Weekday pricing begins at $90 per person / Bar Seating: $75 / Premium Seating: $140. Weekend pricing begins at $110 per person / Bar Seating: $85 / Premium Seating: $160. Reservations can be made by phone at 212.744.1600 or online via Ticketweb. Gina just wrapped production on Mark and Daniel Waters' Fashion Victim where she plays Celia Avery. She will next be seen in Kay Cannon's Blockers. Gina was most recently seen in the hit Amazon comedy series Red Oaks, the Judd Apatow-produced HBO comedy series Crashing and on the Golden Globe-winning series Empire. She was also seen in Permission opposite Rebecca Hall and Dan Stevens, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival.

Previously, Gina starred opposite Matthew McConaughey in the dark comedy Killer Joe, directed by William Friedkin. Gershon received rave reviews and was awarded "Best Supporting Actress" at the Toronto Film Festival for her performance as Sharla Smith.

On television, Gershon can be seen in Lifetime's House of Versace where she plays Donatella Versace, Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm, as well as HBO's How to Make It In America and Danny McBride's Eastbound & Down. Other notable credits include Denis Leary's FX series Rescue Me, a reoccurring arc on ABC's Ugly Betty, the CBS mini-series Sinatra, the TNT original movie Legalese, and starring in David E. Kelley's action detective drama Snoops.

In theatre, Gershon most recently starred in the the Stephen King/John Mellencamp/T Bone Burnett musical Ghost Brothers. Gershon made a huge splash on Broadway, receiving rave reviews as the Italian flight attendant Gabriella in the 2008 Tony Award-winning revival of Boeing Boeing. She returned to the stage starring in the first-ever Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie as Rosie. Additional stage credits include a 2001 starring role as Sally Bowles in Sam Mendes's Broadway revival of Cabaret which won Best Revival at the Tony Awards, the stage plays Camille opposite Kathleen Turner and Jon Robin Baitz's The Substance of Fire (both at the Long Wharf Theatre). Gershon is a founding member of the New York-based theater company Naked Angels.

Off-screen, Gina co-wrote the fiction novel Camp Creepy Time with her brother Dann which has been optioned by DreamWorks and is in development. She additionally authored the memoir In Search of Cleo: How I Found My Pussy and Lost My Mind. Gershon released her debut album, In Search of Cleo in 2007.
