Last night at Feinstein's/54 Below the audience "Didn't fill up on the Antipasto" as notated on the special Tony Danza Menu. However, it did fill up on the great entertainment produced by the charming song and dance man who is known by millions for his starring roles in two of television's most successful long running series, "Taxi" and "Who's The Boss."
Tony's song list of Standards and his Stories combined with the famed actor's quick-witted sense of humor create instant likability. This is one of the most enjoyable evenings one can have at Feinstein's/54 Below.
Danza is currently starring in "The Good Cop" for Netflix. Written by the creator "Monk", the show marks Danza's much buzzed about and anticipated return to television. Danza plays a street smart, rule breaking, ex-NYC cop and father to a straight-laced rule-following cop, played by Josh Groan. The series is set to premiere this fall.
As Tony pointed out humorously at the beginning of his show, "I'm back by popular demand, I demanded it!"
The public always demands to see more of Tony Danza in whatever he does.
