The show is directed by Eric Michael Gillett with musical direction by her brother, Book of Mormon associate conductorAdam Ben-David and also features Mat Fieldes on bass, Ray Marchica on drums and Jake Ezra Schwartz on guitar.

Sheera Ben-David is a graduate of New York University -Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theatre and Acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory. In 2001, Sheera put her love of Jacques Brel's music into an album, Sheera Ben-David Sings Jacques Brel, which both she and her brother produced. She then brought her passion to the source and performed to a sold out crowd at The Music Village in Brussels, Belgium, the home of Jacques Brel. Sheera received critical acclaim for her debut at the Algonquin Hotel's famed Oak Room. As a result, she was awarded the Ira Eaker Award for Special Achievement at the Backstage Bistro Awards in April of 2007. Both shows were given rave reviews. Sheera was then given the distinct honor of being the 2009 Julie Wilson Award winner. It was presented by The Mabel Mercer Foundation at the 20th Annual Cabaret Convention. “A Heart In New York,” her most recent how, debuted at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency.
