The 17th Annual Broadway Unplugged was held at the Merkin Concert Hall last night, October 13.

The show that features "Sound Design by God," with Broadway stars singing without microphones, the way it used to be done on Broadway, has become a much-beloved tradition.

The list of stars who have performed "Unplugged" in this concert event is a who's who of Broadway belters, from Sutton Foster to Marc Kudisch, and from Emily Skinner to Chuck Cooper. Just some of the others who have performed in Broadway Unplugged are Norm Lewis, Cheyenne Jackson, Alice Ripley, Carolee Carmello, Josh Young, Liz Callaway, Michael Cerveris, Tonya Pinkins, Stephanie J. Block, Christianne Noll, Beth Leavel, William Michals, Alexander Gemingnani, Ashley Brown, and many more.
