Photo Coverage: Katharine McPhee & the Cast of WAITRESS Sing The Music of Sara Bareilles

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - presented the cast of Broadway's hit musical Waitress - including it's new star Katharine McPhee - celebrating the music of the show's composer Sara Bareilles in a special benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on Sunday last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Directed by cast members Molly Jobe and Matt DeAngelis, the fun night of heartfelt tunes by the seven time Grammy nominated composer of the hit Broadway musical. The cast sang an array of songs from all of Sara's albums including hits like "Brave," "Love Song," and "Gravity." The band includes music director Adam Kaufman on piano, Ryan Vona on guitar, Jon Epcar on drums, Jeff Allen on bass, Alex Foote on guitar, and Yair Evnine on cello.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 recently celebrated its one year anniversary as the theater district's premiere destination for live music and events. The 140-seat space lets audiences experience shows up close and personal.
