On Sunday, September 9 at 7PM, some of Broadway and cabaret's best presented a spirited original concert, "I Feel Good: Broadway Celebrates The Music of James Brown" at Birdland.

Chester Gregory (Tarzan, Hairspray), Aisha de Haas (Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me), Chuck Cooper (Caroline or Change), John Eric Parker (Rent), Joshua Henry (In The Heights), along with an 8-piece funk band, sang the songs made famous by the hardest working man in show business, James BrownAmy Birnbaum produced and directed this event, which benefited the Broadway Inspirational Voices - a choir that unites people of all races, religions and backgrounds.
