Marty Thomas Presents DIVA features NYC's finest female vocalists paying tribute to the greatest icons throughout history! The show performs weekly in midtown Manhattan hotspot, Industry Bar. It has also been seen around the country, as well as on Off Broadway and Broadway stages. In its fourth year, the show has featured such acts asShoshana Bean, Shayna Steele, Rachel Potter, Alysha Umphress, Lena Hall, Eden Espinosa, The Glamazons, The Skivvies, Ramona Keller, N'Kenge, Saycon Sengbloh, Kate Rockwell and many many more. For the past 10 weeks, 12 dynamic female vocalists have gone toe to toe before panels of celebrity judges. They were competing for a cash and prize package that included $1000 cash, as well as paid bookings with MartyThomas Presents DIVA and an exciting prize package. Prizes included headshot packages with famed photographers Andrew Werner, Kevin Thomas Garcia, David Perlman and Barrymoore Photography, a sizable acting class package with The Actors Connection, a gym membership with Equinox gyms, performance opportunites with composer Scott Alan, a branding/marketing consultation with DEFINE Marketing, a one on one coaching with Bernie Telsey casting director Cesar Rocha and so much more!

Competing this year were Sarah Elle Daniels, Galyana Castillo, Courtney Rada, Molly Mastrangelo, Krista Antonacci, Aja Goes, Mayme Marshall, Elissa Goldstein, Christina Cataldo, Kelsey Griswold and Krysi Kroft. The contestants performed in elimination style heats until we crowned our winner, Christina Cataldo.

Celebrity judges that weighed in on the competition included composer Jeff Thomson (TRAILS, JAWBREAKER), composter Scott Alan (DREAMING WIDE AWAKE). Broadways Alysha Umphress (ON THE TOWN, AMERICAN IDIOT), Cody Williams (ON THE TOWN), Brandon Bieber (SIDESHOW), composer/actress Katie Thompson (PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES, RRRED), Douglas Lyons (BEAUTIFUL, BOOK OF MORMON, composer Johnathan Ried Gealt (FORWARD), Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan, lyricist Bill Russel (SIDESHOW, PAGEANT THE MUSICAL), choreographer Shea Sullivan (PAGEANT THE MUSICAL, Miss America Pageant), BE A DIVA Competition Season 1 finalist Jenna Miller and casting director Cesar Rocha (Bernie Telsey Casting).

The DIVA cast this week included Marissa Rosen (MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING), Holly Ann Butler (ON THE TOWN, GREASE) and Samia Mounts.

The show is hosted/produced by Marty Thomas. Thomas has appeared on Broadway in Xanadu, The Secret Garden and Wicked, and is currently starring off Broadway in Pageant the musical. He's a Grammy Nominated recording artist and a former Ed McMahon's Star Search Champion. With his experience in the recording industry and musical theater, he created DIVA to feature strong female talent paying tribute to his ultimate idols.

Marty Thomas Presents DIVA performs every Monday night at Industry Bar at 11 PM with a rotating cast of insanely talented female vocalists.
