Photo Coverage: Celebrities Turn Out For Clint Holmes Birdland Performance

There are some cabaret shows that you never want to end and you would stay in your seat for the 2nd (or if there was), third show. Clint Holmes, was introduced by Broadway at Birdland host Jim Caruso last night as one of the best vocalists in the world and Clint's performance on the stage of Birdland, before a star studded audience of music lovers demonstrated how true that intro was.

To add to last night's staggering musical event, Clint had a very special guest join him for a number. Super actor/singer Norm Lewis!

Birdland was truly the Jazz and Entertainment corner of the world last night. Just ask Michele Lee, Lynn Sherr, Kurt Elling, Billy Stritch, Julianne Boyd, Joan Ryan, Jamie deRoy, Kenneth Laub, Nicolas King, Anthony Nunziata, Bill Boggs, Will Friedwald, Haley Swindal, Jack Tantleff, Larry Moss, Ron Abel, Chuck Steffan, and a room full of entertainment connoisseurs which included of course Kelly Clinton Holmes. All were present for an unforgettable evening... watching and listening to one of the true greats in the business.

Although his career spans four decades, Clint Holmes is in the midst of a significant breakthrough. Having spent the last 20 years as one of Vegas's most successful entertainers, he has, over the last several years, achieved tremendous acclaim with solo shows in New York.

Holmes burst onto the pop landscape nearly 45 years ago with the million-selling smash "Playground in My Mind." His enduring and accomplished career as a recording artist, multidimensional showman and consummate entertainer includes tenure as Joan Rivers' sidekick on her late-night television program, a stint as musical feature and event correspondent on "Entertainment Tonight," and his own Emmy-winning talk/variety show. Along with appearing in marquee musicals across the country, he has written the book, music and lyrics to original shows and cabaret acts.
