Continuing through January 24, The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel wil present award-winning singer, actor and dancer Sutton Foster. In a recent review for The New York Times, Stephen Holden wrote, "The radiance of Julia Roberts and the zany spunk of Holly Golightly: that only begins to describe the seductive charms of Sutton Foster in her irresistible cabaret show."
Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer, most recently appearing on ABC Family's Bunheads. She was born in Georgia and raised in Michigan. Before starring in Bunheads, Sutton appeared on Broadway in Grease!, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Annie, and Les Miserables before her big break and Tony Award-winning performance inThoroughly Modern Millie. She has also originated roles in the Broadway productions of Little Women, The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein, and Shrek the Musical. In 2011, Sutton starred in the revival of Anything Goes -- a role that earned her the 2011 Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Astaire Awards. She has also performed solo shows all across the county and has released two solo albums - Wish and Sutton Foster Live and the Cafe Carlyle. She will soon return to Broadway in the title role in Violet.
