The Philipstown Depot Theatre has announced the continuation of their popular Cabaret in the Country series with a full season of shows. Throughout 2015, some of NYC's finest cabaret artists from the worlds of Broadway and beyond descend upon Putnam County! Audiences can expect to hear treasured music from composers like Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers and Hammerstein and songs made popular by the one and only Barbra Streisand. It's a series full of surprises and extraordinary music.
Cabaret in the Country was created and is produced by Phil Geoffrey Bond, former Director of Programming at 54 Below, also known as Broadway's living room, a swank nightclub located in the heart of Manhattan's theatre district.
Tickets are available via Brown Paper Tickets for $30. A season pass is also available for $100. The Philipstown Depot Theatre is located at 10 Garrison Landing in Garrison, NY, directly on the banks of the Hudson River, four miles North of the Bear Mountain Bridge, and adjacent to the Garrison Metro North train station, where parking is available. Past special guests have included original Sondheim cast members such as Len Cariou, Jim Walton, Donna McKechnie & Chip Zien - so you never know who might drop in.
