Due to the overwhelming audience and critical response Sardi's management has scheduled even more additional Saturday evening concerts with leading man, James Barbour.
"LOVE SONGS" will continue to seduce New Yorkers every Saturday in March with an additional Sunday matinee concert on March 15. On Saturday, March 14th, Barbour will be joined by special guest Ryan Silverman. SARDI'S is located at 234 West 44th Street - between Broadway & Eighth Avenue.
The sold-out concerts continue to be produced by presented by Treehouse Entertainment Inc. and Roberta Nusim for TMA (Theatrical Marketing Associates). Jeremy Roberts continues as Musical Director.
Ryan just returned from London where he performed songs from the nominated production of West Side Story at the Olivier Awards. Ryan recently performed the role of Karl in the Encores! production of Music in the Air alongside Kristin Chenoweth, Douglas Sills and Sierra Bogus. Ryan is looking forward to taking over the role of Raoul in Phantom on Broadway this April. Credits include West Side Story (Tony)-London & International Tour. James Barbour starred on Broadway in A Tale of Two Cities (Sydney Carton), Carousel (Billy Bigelow), Jane Eyre (Rochester, Drama League Award nomination), Beauty and the Beast (Beast), Urinetown (Lockstock), Assassins (Czolgosz) and Cyrano the Musical. He was part of the original national tour of The Secret Garden and starred as Lancelot in Camelot opposite Jeremy Irons (Hollywood Bowl) and Michael York (national tour). He co-starred in Lewis and Clark Reach the Euphrates (Mark Taper Forum), the world premiere of 20th Century (Signature Theatre) and has appeared in many other regional and Off-Broadway productions including A Tale of Two Cities at the Asolo Theatre (for which he won the Sarasota Magazine Award for Best Actor), Back From Broadway (which he also co-produced and for which he received an L.A. Weekly Garland Award), and he was nominated for an L.A. Ovation Award for The Ghost and Mrs. Muir at the NOHO Arts Center in Los Angeles. Television and film: Alchemy, Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights, "Ed," "Sex and the City," "Just Shoot Me," "The District," "That's Life," "The Game," "Some Enchanted Evening," American Experience's "John & AbiGail Adams." James is also part of the vocal singing group Tres, and his voice can be heard on the recordings of Jane Eyre, Assassins, Broadway in Concert and the upcoming release of Frank Wildhorn's Dracula.
Jeremy Roberts was born in Los Angeles, and moved to Seattle with his family when he was 14. He appeared on the "Gong Show" at age 13 - and has been a professional musician ever since. His passion for vocal accompaniment led him to Las Vegas, then Atlantic City, then to New York. He met Linda Eder in 1987 and was her musical director/arranger/ conductor/producer for 18 years. With Linda, he appeared on her Bravo Christmas Special, PBS special, and appearances with the Boston Pops. He's conducted some of the leading "pops" orchestras, including the Philly Pops, National Symphony, Houston Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, and many others. Concert appearances include 3 sold out shows at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, and the Gershwin and Palace Theaters on Broadway. His association with Frank Wildhorn include the Broadway and pre-Broadway stage productions and/or recordings of JEKYLL & HYDE, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, SVENGALI , THE CIVIL WAR, DRACULA, WAITING FOR THE MOON, RUDOLF, CARMEN and CAMILLE CLAUDEL. Artists that Jeremy has performed and/or recorded with include Trisha Yearwood, Clay Aiken, Larry Gatlin, Peabo Bryson, BeBe Winans, Bernadette Peters, Anthony Warlow, Betty Buckley, Dennis DeYoung, Rosie O'Donnell, John Raitt, and Colm Wilkinson, to name a few. Jeremy is married to Debra Rubin-Roberts (Makeup Artist and founder of "Mommy Makeup"), and has a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy and a brand new little girl, Riley.
