MARY MCBRIDE with special guest Patrick Wilson Monday, 4/13 at 7:30 PM

"Her voice is part angel, part truck driver, as if to say sometimes you power through sadness and sometimes you just hope for a miracle." - The New York Times

"Enter Mary McBride, whose songcraft defies all expectation." - Harp Magazine
"McBride has huge pipes, writes a mean song, and comes with a band that's rock-ready." - Houston Press

Mary McBride and Band, including Tommy Borscheid (guitar), PaulCarbonara (guitar), Greg Beshers (bass), Kenny SouleLindsay Wolf (bg vocals), Grace McLean (bg vocals), Susan Murphy (bg vocals) and Patrick Wilson, will play Joe's Pub for ONE NIGHT ONLY. McBride burst onto the U.S. touring circuit with her fiery blend of blues, rock and soul with her debut CD, "Everything Seemed Alright," produced by Lou Whitney. Described by The Nashville Scene as "steeped in vim, smarts and compassion" and by the Austin American Statesman as "a rollicking debut album," her debut immediately drew the attention of Grammy award winner Delbert McClinton, who asked her to join his tour. Mary received significant acclaim for her on-screen performance of "No One's Gonna Love You like Me" in the Academy-award winning film "Brokeback Mountain". The song is included on the soundtrack along with tracks from Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Rufus Wainwright, Steve Earle and others.

Patrick Wilson is a Tony-, Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated American theater and film actor-singer. Wilson won critical acclaim for his performance in the 2003 drama HBO mini-series Angels in America. He received both a Golden Globe nomination and an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He played Joe Pitt, a Mormon, Republican and sexually confused lawyer. Wilson plays Nite Owl II in the 2009 film adaptation of the graphic novel Watchmen. On Broadway, Wilson played in the revival of all My Sons. Previous credits include Barefoot in the Park and the Full Monty.
