Kearns Artist Services and The HOWL! Festival are proud to present "Out of the Ensemble" Cabaret on Saturday September 18 at 8pm at The Bowery Electric, 327 Bowery. Out of the Ensemble highlights the talent of the unsung heroes of Broadway shows - members of the Ensemble.
This month's cabaret is a fundraiser for HOWL! HELP, an emergency services assistance and health fund for eligible and qualifying East Village artists, administered by The Actors Fund, as part of The HOWL! Festival.
It will be an amazing evening of music with performances by Meghann Dreyfuss, Eric Giancola, Gavin Gregory, Raymond J. Lee, Olivia Oguma & Leah Zepel with Brandon Sturiale accompanying on keyboards.

PERFORMER BIOS
Meghann Dreyfuss is thrilled to be a part of "Out of the Ensemble." As a member of the original Broadway cast of Mamma Mia, she performed in the ensemble and understudied the role of Sophie Sheridan for eight years. Other New York roles include April in Brunch: the Musical, Raphael in Sophia's Fall, Gabby/Bobbi in City of Angels, and Guenevere in Camelot. Meghann is an NYU Tisch graduate.
Eric Giancola, a graduate of NYU, recently returned from a 6 week backpacking trip around the globe after finishing his time at Mamma Mia! (Broadway cast) and is beyond thrilled to be back in new York city and participating in Out of the Ensemble.
Gavin Gregory is a Broadway veteran who was born and raised in Warren, Ohio, and realized theater in Atlanta, Georgia. Gavin has performed in the Broadway shows "The Color Purple", and "The Lion King". Gavin was recently featured in Portland Center Stage's 2009 - 2010 season in the musicals "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee", and "Ragtime" for which he won the 2010 DRAMMY Award for Best Musical Actor in a Lead Role for his portrayal of Coalhouse Walker, Jr. Some of Gavin's concerts include "An Intimate Evening of Musical Theater" (Portland Center Stage), and "Showboat" (Carnegie Hall). TV credits include "Law & Order: SVU" and "Dawson's Creek".
Raymond J. Lee has taken the Internet by storm as Archie Parks in his "Glee Audition" video, which now has over 20,000 hits. Ray starred as "Eddie" in the Broadway company of Mamma Mia! His past credits include "Applause" at City Center's Encore Series, the title role in the New York Fringe Festival production of "Victor Woo: Average Asian American", and various readings and workshops, including "Shrek" and "Honeymoon in Vegas". Regional: Miss Saigon (North Carolina Theater & Actors Playhouse), Snow Falling on Cedars (Portland Centerstage), Skin of Our Teeth (Bristol Riverside), BFE (Long Wharf Theater; Winner of CT Critics Circle Award for Best Debut Performance). TV/Film: Law & Order, As the World Turns, The New Electric Company, Strangers with Candy: The Movie, HallMark Hall of Fame's The Flamingo Rising. Next up Olivia will play 's Marcy Park in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Philadelphia Theater Co & Papermill Playhouse.
Leah Zepel completed a 3 year acting program at the Los Angeles Theater Academy, then moved to NY and spent 7 years in the ensemble in Broadway's Mamma Mia. Regional roles include Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Molly in The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, Elsie in After The Fall, Alice in Zombie Attack and Moth in Loves Labors Lost. Leah worked (twice) as the Lead Singer/Dancer on Holland America Cruise Lines, and traveled the USA performing and teaching with the touring company "Young Americans".
