54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, has announced initial casting for "54 Sings Kiss of the Spider Woman."Anthony Crivello, who won a Tony Award for his performance as Valentin in the original 1993 Broadway production of Kiss of the Spider Woman, headlines the evening celebrating John Kander and Fred Ebb's celebrated score. The event also stars two-time Helen Hayes Award winner Natascia Diaz who is recreating her acclaimed performance from the Signature Theatre production (Man of La Mancha, Capeman), Cheryl Freeman (The Who's Tommy, The Civil War) and Nicholas Rodriguez (Tarzan, The Toxic Avenger), and features Graham Bailey, Stephen Orr, Paul Pontrelli and Michael Romeo Ruocco. The one-night-only event, featuring music direction by John Fisher anddirection by Scott Coulter, takes place Sunday, October 12 at 7PM and 9:30PM at 54 Below.

Inspired by the internationally best selling novel by Manuel Puig, Kiss of the Spider Woman won seven Tony Awards including trophies for Best Musical and Best Score. Kander and Ebb's beautiful and haunting songs including "Where You Are," "I Do Miracles," "Dear One," and "Kiss of the Spider Woman."

"54 Sings Kiss of the Spider Woman" is the latest event from "54 Sings," 54 Below's talk-of-the-town series celebrating the music of our all time favorite scores through live performances of their biggest hits. Performed by some of Broadway and cabaret's most luminary talents, 54 Sings continues to delight audiences far and wide as we salute some of the finest melodies ever written for the musical stage. The series continues with "54 Sings Mame" on December 7 at 7PM and 9:30PM. Get the ice out and roll the rug up as 54 Below celebrates one of Jerry Herman's most beloved and tuneful scores including "If He Walked Into My Life," "It's Today," "We Need a Little Christmas," and "Mame." Cast includes Donna Lynne Champlin, Eric Michael Gillett, Annie Golden, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Dee Hoty, Beth Leavel, Lee Roy Reams and Music Direction by John McDaniel & the It's Today! Trio.
